Serving: 2 small / 1 large glass
1 large banana
200ml Coconut milk
1 medium free range egg
1 tablespoon Wheatgerm
1 teaspoon Royal Jelly
This smoothie recipe certainly packs a punch as it bursting with energy and strength giving nutrition. Bananas and apple juice provide slow and quick release energy. Eggs are a great source of protein. Wheatgerm is a good source of vitamin E and folic acid. Royal Jelly is the food that the queen bee lives on and is an excellent all round nutritional food including protein, energy, lipids and much more.
Peel the banana and cut it into slices. Wash and juice the apples. Crack the egg and ensure that it is fresh (remove the yolk if you want to reduce the fat content of this smoothie) and discard the shell. Blend all ingredients except the apple juice and royal jelly until smooth. Now add the apple juice and royal jelly and blend for 10 seconds. Drink straight away!
