Overview

This carrot juice recipe is ideal if you require a bit of a pep up in the morning, it will give you all the energy you need for a busy morning ahead.

Make sure you wash your apples thoroughly in warm water if they have been commercially grown to remove any wax layer that may have been applied to them to preserve their shelf life.

The Ginger will help boost your blood circulation and also gives a nice edge to the juice flavour.

Directions

Peel the carrots and then remove the top and tail of them with a knife. Cut the apples into the appropriate sized pieces that will fit down your juicer's feeding chute. Peel the Ginger. You can use a teaspoon to do this as the skin is fairly thin. Feed the prepped ingredients through your juicer using a gentle pressure. Once you have finished juicing skim any froth off the top of the juice with a spoon and then pour into glasses. Drink immediately to get the full nutritional value from the juice before oxidation of nutrients occurs.
